Depending on the season, private or group lessons with professional Yoga and Pilates instructors can be organised, either outdoors in our Yoga Garden or indoors in a dedicated room.
One of the most popular experiences in all seasons of the year is a tour of the wine cellars with wine tasting and sampling of local products, accompanied by certified sommeliers.
Another of the most popular requests are truffle hunts with local guides in autumn, while in summer and spring, outdoor sporting activities such as e-bike excursions (which can be hired at the relais), Nordic walking, trekking and quad bike tours among the Piedmont hills are a must.
Thanks to its proximity to the region’s most exclusive golf circuits, the Relais Sant’Uffizio is a haven also for golf enthusiasts.
Wine tasting
The experience includes:
– Visit to the winery
– Tasting from three to five wines
– Tray of cold cuts/cheeses or appetizers
– Speech by a sommelier
Taste the best Piedmontese wines during a visit to the wineries in the area which boast some of the best local wines. Tours generally include tastings from three to five wines, but others can be added upon request. Appetizers will also be available for guests. Group tours and private tasting sessions can be arranged upon special request.
Monferrato Truffle Hunting

Italian truffles are among the most prized in the world and the Piedmont region is renowned for producing exquisite varieties, which expert hunters find and collect. Guests of the Relais Sant’Uffizio are invited to join the truffle hunt on the private properties of the truffle hunters. Your guide and dog pack will show you how to search for truffles and teach you the history of harvesting this prized mushroom. The truffle hunting tour requires a minimum of two participants and can accommodate groups of up to 16 people.

Nordic Walking experience
The experiece includes:
– Hiking poles rental

Discover the art of “Nordic walking”, walking with the use of trekking poles to provide support during hill climbs and country paths. The package includes the rental of trekking poles and optionally a tourist guide who will show you the best routes or a compass and map to venture alone! Upon request, the tour can also include a visit to a wine cellar complete with tasting. Alternatively, it is possible to go trekking over long distances among the splendid Piedmontese hills.
